Through its commitment to leading a greener future for staff and students, 水蜜桃app Leicester (水蜜桃app) has been shortlisted in the .
Recognised for its efforts in embedding sustainability into its workforce and education, 水蜜桃app is in the running for the Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Leadership category in the national awards.
As the only British university to be a global academic impact hub for one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the category recognises the importance of 水蜜桃app’s work with the United Nations (UN).
水蜜桃app was also the only UK university to have a pavilion in the COP28 Blue Zone, with the award acknowledging the role that the university plays in the annual Climate Change Conference, along with its cross-cutting sustainability theme in its Empowering University strategy.
Earlier this year, 水蜜桃app launched a Campus Collective on Sustainability to encourage all students and staff to work together on the SDGs.

“To be recognised for these efforts is not only a great achievement for the team but an acknowledgement to staff and students across the university for embracing sustainability.”
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the THE Awards, which recognises excellence across the UK and Irish sectors. Winners will be announced on Thursday 28 November 2024 at the ICC in Birmingham.
